Safety – Camping Sønder Hoved
PERIOD
- During COPENHELL
- Duration of shift: 9 hours
TASKS
At Sønderhoved Camping, the atmosphere boils when hordes of festival guests wander between the camping area and the festival site. There is a hell of a good atmosphere, lots of energy and a great flow of people who are both ready for the concert – and on their way home to recharge for the next one.
Your tasks in the chaos include:
- Wristband check at the gates – you make sure that only the right souls are allowed access to the site. No Camping wristbands, no access to the hellish metal sleeping area.
- Ticketing – when people have lost track of the situation or their ticket, you are the one who keeps track of the troops and helps them on.
- Rounds – you move around the site, maintaining peace, order and overview, while the atmosphere rumbles out.
- Guest service – you help the festival people when they have questions, need directions or just a quick rescue from the confusion.
All in all, you are part of the machinery that ensures that the party runs, the atmosphere is on fire, and that festival guests get an experience that is heavy as a lead riff and smooth as a cold beer in the sun.
ABOUT TEAM SAFETY AND SERVICE
We make sure to keep hell safe. In close collaboration with security guards and volunteers, we fence off the festival grounds, ensure that people do not break glass or jump over fences, take care of sound/lighting, and much more. Safety is an important and crucial part of a good festival for everyone! You will NOT be involved in any conflicts—we have professional security guards on the sidelines for that.
The security team offers many different tasks for different needs – we have tasks where you have your finger directly on the pulse of critical areas, but also tasks where you can retreat to quieter areas.
Organizing a festival can be unpredictable, so please be aware that you may be moved to another team or assigned different tasks than planned if necessary.
