Food and drink

WHEN YOU WORK BEFORE OR AFTER THE FESTIVAL

Before and after the festival, we eat together in our killer Restaurant Skærsilden.

On a 9-hour shift, you get one meal, and if you work 12 hours, you get two meals. Meal times are agreed with your team leader. Remember to eat breakfast at home and make sure you have something in your tummy when you arrive for your shift.

At Restaurant Skærsilden, plant-based options will always be available, and we can also accommodate the most common food allergies. If you have any questions, feel free to write to us.

Between main meals, our SnackSupply will make sure that no one suffers from low blood sugar. SnackSupply is located in the Crew area and is where, after consulting with the team leader, you can help yourself to various delicious snacks.

We are black on the outside but green on the inside, so we encourage you to bring your own water bottle and refill it. You can do this at all freestanding sinks and water stations.

In connection with your shifts before and after the festival, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks if you wish.

For a few volunteers who work at odd hours outside Skærsilden’s opening hours, alternative meals will be available – in which case we will notify you.

WHEN YOU WORK DURING THE FESTIVAL

If you work during the festival, you will get one drink and one food token on your chip wristband per shift that you can use at most of the food stalls and in the main bars. As we get closer to the festival, there will be an overview of where you can use your food and drink tickets.

Remember that it is of course not allowed to drink alcohol on your shifts. But we’re happy to have a nightcap together in Satan’s Backyard 😁

Our SnackSupply is still open during the festival and will make sure you can refuel during your shifts.

We still encourage you to bring a water bottle and refill water bottles at the water stations. It’s so damn friendly to the environment!

You are only allowed to bring your own food and drink to the festival by written agreement. You are welcome to send us an email at frivillig@copenhell.dk if this is a requirement for you.
