REGISTRATION
COPENHELL’s volunteer registration opens in early 2026 and can be accessed via copenhellcrew.dk.
You always sign up for a specific team. However, situations may arise where the festival needs your help elsewhere than your original team. Therefore, it is possible that you may be moved to other tasks. However, the period of work will not change – for example, you will not be asked to work before/after the festival instead of during it, and vice versa.
I understand and agree that:
- I am registering for the team I want to work on, but COPENHELL may move me to another team if deemed necessary. COPENHELL will contact me in advance if this becomes necessary.
- The cancellation deadline is May 15, 2026, after which my registration as a volunteer is binding. If I cancel after this date, COPENHELL may ban me from volunteering at COPENHELL for up to three years.
CONTACT
I understand and agree that:
- COPENHELL may contact me via email, phone call, text message, and copenhellcrew.dk
SHIFTS AND ATTENDANCE
I understand and agree that:
- I must approve my assigned shifts no later than May 15, 2026. If I am assigned shifts after this date, I must approve them no later than three days before the start of the shift. If I fail to do so, COPENHELL may deregister me as a volunteer and impose a ban of up to three years from COPENHELL as a volunteer
- I must be ready to work from the start of the shift and therefore arrive in good time for check-in, etc. If I arrive late, COPENHELL may issue me with a warning and/or assign me to another shift
- I must not be absent from a shift

You have the right to work in Denmark if you meet one of the following requirements:

I must present valid identification to receive my crew wristband. Please note that a driver’s license or health card alone is not accepted as valid ID.

- Valid passport or municipal ID card (issued by Citizen Services on or after March 1, 2018) in color on your phone together with secondary ID in physical form or app version (e.g., health insurance card or driver’s license)
You can order an ID card here
I understand that as a citizen outside the EU/EEA countries:
I must upload and present valid identification AND a valid residence and work permit in order to receive my crew wristband.
Valid ID is limited to:
- A valid passport AND a valid work and residence permit issued in Denmark in physical form.
If you are unable to present any of the above when collecting your wristband at Crew Check-in, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the festival site.
DRIVING LICENSE AND CERTIFICATES

- I will not remain in backstage areas if I am not on duty and/or have a necessary errand
- I will not remain on the festival grounds during the set-up and dismantling periods unless I am on duty
- I will not remain in areas for which I do not have accreditation
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
I understand and agree that:
- as a volunteer at COPENHELL I am expected to work in accordance with applicable Health and Safety legislation
- That I am at all times obliged to follow guidelines for the use of protective equipment and other guidelines relevant to the fulfillment of the work
- That I am expected to report any physically or mentally unsuitable working environment to my volunteer coordinator, team leader, Work Environment Team or the Volunteer office
VALUABLES AND INSURANCE
All volunteers at COPENHELL are covered by statutory workers’ compensation insurance. This covers personal injury, but not personal property. We encourage you not to bring valuables to the festival.
If damage to property or injury to persons occurs, you must immediately report it to your nearest manager.
I understand and agree that:
- That it is my own responsibility if I bring valuable items to COPENHELL
- That all volunteers at COPENHELL are insured via the mandatory industrial injury insurance. This covers personal injury, but not private property. If, for example, I bring my computer or phone to COPENHELL, it is therefore at my own risk
NARCOTICS, ALCOHOL, AND VIOLENCE
I understand and agree:
- That the use of and trade in narcotic substances is prohibited. If I witness the use or sale of drugs, I must contact either my volunteer coordinator, team leader, the Crew office, or the security staff at the festival site as soon as possible
- That I am not allowed to show up drunk or under the influence on my shift, nor am I allowed to drink alcohol during my shift. If I violate this, COPENHELL is entitled to blacklist me, cut my wristband and send me a violation fee corresponding to the ticket price of COPENHELL 2025
- That it is not allowed to give away anything from a stall, bar, or anywhere else at COPENHELL. Free serving or handing out of food or beverages as well as cheating with change will be considered theft and reported to the police
- That it is not allowed to bring your own beverages during the festival. This applies to both alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages
- Discrimination based on gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation, as well as behavior that may result in a conviction for violence, fights, threats, sexual offenses, and vandalism is not acceptable. COPENHELL is committed to ensuring that all guests have a safe and secure festival. Violation of this will result in banishment, cutting off of wristband, and possible blacklisting and reporting to the police
PRESS AND ARTISTS
I understand and agree:
- That it is not permitted to bring audio recorders, voice recorders, video cameras, SLR cameras, and professional photographic equipment without prior agreement. However, small digital video cameras (pocket size) and mobile phones are allowed
- It is forbidden to take pictures of artists, ask for an autograph or otherwise contact artists when you are at work. The privacy of artists must be respected
- All communication with the press must go through management. Therefore, I am not allowed to speak to the press about COPENHELL or on behalf of COPENHELL
DEPOSIT BASED PACKAGING
COPENHELL uses an environmental deposit system to ensure that as much packaging as possible is collected, sorted, and recycled. COPENHELL uses around 2,000,000 pieces of packaging every year, so there is a great need to ensure that all these products do not end up in the sea of fire in an incinerator, but are recycled in the best possible way.
For volunteers, there are specific rules for the collection of deposit based packaging.
I understand and agree:
- That it is not allowed to collect deposit based packaging (beer glasses, shot tubes, etc.) and receive money for it when I am on duty
- If there is any doubt as to whether the packaging has been collected during working hours, COPENHELL reserves the right to withhold payment and/or exchange in the bars for new products.
